First Christian Church of Highland
is located in the town of Highland, Indiana. Our church is a part
of the larger Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Disciples have
become a "melting pot" of Christians, a Church in which
persons from a wide variety of traditions can feel comfortable. If
you would like a detailed description of our beliefs and doctrines,
this information is available on the About
Us page.
We would love to have you join us for our worship
service and activities, so please
visit the Worship
Times page for a listing of church times and general information.
We offer learning opportunities for all ages in our
Sunday morning Church School. Adults and children alike build on
their faith through a variety of mediums. More information about
our educational program is on our Church
School page.
Activities
We have active Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF)
groups who meet monthly for study, worship, and fellowship. A group
of our members and friends meet regularly for a Saturday Morning
Breakfast Fellowship. We also have
a variety of annual events such as our Easter Egg Hunt, Advent Fair
and Summer Camp for the children
If you are interested in participating in the Christian
Women's Fellowship, or other special activity, our meeting times
and dates are included on the Calendar
of Events page.
Driving Directions
We're easy to find. We're located just two blocks

As Members of the
Christian Church:
- We confess that Jesus is the Christ,
the Son of the living God, and proclaim him Lord and
Savior of the world.
- In Christ's name and by his grace we
accept our mission of witness and service to all people.
- We rejoice in God, maker of heaven and
earth, and in the covenant of love, which binds us to
God and one another.
- Through baptism into Christ we enter
into newness of life and are made one with the whole
people of God.
- In the communion of the Holy Spirit
we are joined in discipleship and in obedience to Christ.
- At the table of the Lord we celebrate
with thanksgiving the saving acts and presence of Christ.
- Within the universal church we receive
the gift of ministry and the light of scripture.
- In the bonds of Christian faith we yield
ourselves to God that we may serve the One whose kingdom
has no end.
- Blessing, glory and honor be to God
forever.
Amen. |
